25th Anniversary
 

2008 is our 25th year, so here are the Anniversary events being organised during the year:

Were you one of the lucky few that went to DIGGERLAND?  if not, you missed an extremely enjoyable day out.  For more information, see August's Routes.

LEARN TO DRIVE.  Once again, the Learn to Drive event on 29th June was a great success.  The ADIs helped 29 aspiring drivers, and 7 people tried our manoeuvring course.  Many thanks to all members who turned up to help on the day, and special thanks to all the ADIs present, without whom the day would not have been possible.

Our Silver Anniversary AGM was held on Tuesday 18th March with Simon Best, IAM's Managing Director as guest speaker.  Simon gave an interesting talk on the future of the IAM, and answered a number of questions from members.

Our Anniversary Dinner, was held on Saturday 26th January (7:30 for 8pm) at the Batch Country Club in Lympsham.  Photos of the bash can be seen on our 'Photos' page.

January 21st saw the launch of the new Fiat 500, and Weston & Mendip Advanced Motorists, in conjunction with Hutton Motors organised "THE FIAT 500 ADVANCED ANNIVERSARY ADVENTURE".
