As a Member or Associate of the IAM you can enjoy a wide range of benefits and discounts all carefully chosen to help you get more from your driving. These include discounts on everything from breakdown assistance and windscreen replacement to tyres, exhausts and brakes; from car hire, hotels and airport parking to financial services. There are special deals, too, on a range of books, road atlases and maps.

During the year, for example, the IAM holds several Activity Days. Offered to IAM Members and Associates at specially negotiated rates, these popular and sometimes challenging events are a great opportunity to learn new techniques – on and off-road – and share your passion for driving and riding with fellow enthusiasts.
On a local level, there are monthly social meetings, with guest speakers mainly on motoring related issues, but can vary from The Bloodhound Supersonic Car to The SS Great Britain.
To keep your driving on top form, we offer free opportunities to update your skills, either by attending an Associates’ Course or with our free driving assessments, just to make sure that those ‘bad habits’ don’t creep back!
